Hospitality is all about people

Why did you choose to study hospitality?

Hospitality is broader than just working in a hotel and serving customers. It’s all about working with and understanding people, which means you never get bored! There are always new challenges to overcome and solutions to be found. This is a process I love being a part of. 

 

Why did you choose SHMS?

When I learned that Switzerland is the home of hospitality management, I knew I wanted to choose a school here.  I was also really drawn to the event management and interior design classes at SHMS.

 

What is your favorite class?

I really enjoy learning about wine and bar management, as well as designing mood board in my interior design class and practising service in our fine-dining restaurant. 

 

What do you do in your free time?

Right now, I am part of the cheerleading group put together for the SEG sports day. Besides that, I like to travel when I have free time because Switzerland is such a beautiful country and there are lots of places I haven’t visited yet. I also like interacting with the locals to try to improve my French skills.
