Swiss Hotel Management School signs Memorandum of Understanding with TMC Academy in Singapore
New MOU will provide students from TMC Academy with an opportunity to not only complete their degree in Switzerland, but also gain practical experience in hospitality via the paid internship programme.
On 26 January 2017, Swiss Education Group and TMC Academy in Singapore embarked on a strategic alliance through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) allowing students to deepen their skills in hospitality and ensure that they are well equipped for their future careers from a practical perspective.
The MoU was officiated by Mr.Guy Peters, Executive Director Asia-Pacific, Marketing & Development for Swiss Education Group and Ms Yeow Cheng Khim, Chief Executive Officer, TMC Academy.
With this partnership, students from TMC Academy’s undergraduate hospitality programme can finish their final year of their degree at SHMS’s Leysin campus, followed by a four to six month internship in Switzerland or worldwide. Students who complete this programme will receive a Dual Award (Hons) Degree: Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in International Hospitality & Events Management, awarded by SHMS Swiss Hotel Management School and University of Derby (UK).
Swiss Education Group and Swiss Hotel Management School, look forward to welcoming students through this international collaboration, allowing them to experience hospitality and cultures of different countries.
