Entry Requirements - SHMS
Swiss Diploma / Swiss Higher Diploma / Bachelor Degree
- Minimum age: 17 years*
- English: TOEFL 500+ or IELTS 5.0 or 50+ points on the Oxford Online Placement Test (OOPT).**
- Students must have successfully completed their high school diploma.
- For students with a lower level of English, we recommend the English Foundation Program.
Postgraduate Diploma
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline or at least 3 years work experience in a supervisory position in any industry.
- English: TOEFL 500+ or IELTS 5.0 or 50+ points on the Oxford Online Placement Test (OOPT).**
- For students with a lower level of English, we recommend the English Foundation Program.
Master of International Business
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline or at least 3 years work experience in a supervisory position in any industry.
- English: TOEFL 500+ or IELTS 5.0 or 50+ points on the Oxford Online Placement Test (OOPT).**
- For students with a lower level of English, we recommend the English Foundation Program.
Direct entry Master of International Business
- Successful completion of an SEG Postgraduate Diploma (with internship) or Undergraduate Degree in Hotel Management (or related discipline) with a minimum of 6 months work experience.
- English: TOEFL 525 or IELTS 5.5 or 60+ points on the Oxford Online Placement Test (OOPT).**
Master of Arts
- Bachelor Honours Degree in a related discipline and at least 8 months relevant work experience.
- English level equivalent to TOEFL 550 or IELTS 6.0
- Mature applicants with over 5 years supervisory work experience, may be considered without higher qualifications.
*Please note that students must be 18 years of age to commence the full-time industry internship. Those students who have not attained this age will be required to complete the second academic semester at SHMS before commencing their first internship.
