Stephan Earnhart, Academic Director, Leysin Campus
As Academic Director since 2006, Mr. Earnhart is passionate about developing the next generations of hospitality leaders by teaching them how to master the Swiss Hospitality Touch.  With over 25 years experience in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, he was educated in hospitality management at Cornell University and Ecôle Hôtelière de Lausanne and holds a Bachelors Degree from Portland (Oregon) State University and a MBA in Hospitality Management.

Mr Earnhart has worked as a hospitality leader and consultant with such prestigious clients as Swiss Deluxe Hotels, Walt Disney World, Four Seasons Hotels and Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Hilton, Marriott and the Ritz-Carlton.

Jeroen Greven, Assistant Dean
After studying International Relations and Political Science at the University of Amsterdam, Jeroen gained experience working in Business Development in the hospitality sector in various countries. Jeroen progressed by obtaining a PG – Honours Cert in Hospitality Management and a Master with Distinction from the University of Derby in the same field. After several years of work experience in international hotel chains on management and leadership level Jeroen returned to the academic arena as lecturer at SHMS. There he passed the Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) accreditation. After the position of 3rd year and PGD Programme leader Jeroen is now responsible for the management of the BA and MA Programmes at SHMS – UC.

Christophe Meylan, BA Programme Leader
Christophe Meylan joined SHMS in 2006 and specialises in teaching marketing, e-marketing and entrepreneurship.  As a graduate of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, he has international experience working in five-star resorts and hotels in Thailand and Singapore as F&B Manager, Executive Assistant Manager and Resident Manager.  In Switzerland Christophe has experience in hospitality consultancy working in counseling and executive education.

Kathryn Scott, Third Year and PGD Programme Leader
Kathryn Scott began working at SHMS in 2009 and as 2nd year programme leader, teaches front office, rooms division management, events management, events planning and strategic management. Kathryn has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry in diverse roles from General Manager, F & B management and trainer for front and back office. She has worked for many different companies including Disney, Wyndham Hotels, Orient Express and the Whitbread Group in both the US and UK. Kathryn is currently completing a Masters in Education from the University of Derby. 

Oleg Kulinich, Language Programme Leader
Mr Oleg Kulinich has worked at SHMS as Language Programme leader since 2008. He holds a PhD in Romance Languages from the Kiev National Shevchenko University and is fluent in Russian, English, French, German and Ukrainian. He enjoys sharing his passion for linguistics with students at SHMS.
