Representing SHMS with Pride
As an important member of the community of Montreux and its region, students of SHMS were invited to join the 50th anniversary celebrations of the commune. Students dressed in their national costumes took part in a parade through the streets highlighting the international flavor of life in Montreux.
Lucy Beckett who led the group from SHMS says that, "The crowds were all very happy to see us participating in the Parade; we received a huge number of smiles and 'bonjours' along our walk through the main street. It was very heartwarming and we all represented our particular countries with the brightest colours, friendliest waves and biggest smiles. It was a privilege to represent SHMS."
