Another positive sign for hospitality graduates

According to the latest global data from “The Pegasus View,” business and travel revenue rose by over 40% compared with January 2010 and revenue from leisure travel was up by 15%.

The Pegasus report goes on to explain that the increase in business travel revenue has been a direct result of increased corporate travel. Companies in many countries are feeling a return to a competitive market and are sending their sales teams back on the road, driving a healthy revenue raise in the hospitality sector. The report forecasts continued growth in 2011 based on advance bookings throughout the spring and summer period.
