Irma Dütsch confirms attendance at SHMS Anniversary Celebrations

Irma Dütsch is the first female chef in Switzerland to be awarded a Michelin Star and was elected ‘Chef of the Year’ by Gault-Milau in 1994.  Irma is also the author of several books and is a regular guest chef in London, Munich, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Beijing, Japan, Jakarta, Bangkok and Australia.

Her presence at International Day will be an inspiration for SHMS students and a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the culinary world.

International Day is held twice yearly and is an event that allows students to showcase their culture and traditions through performance and presentation of their national cuisine.  At the special SHMS 20th anniversary edition, International Day will also include guided visits of the historic campus by a representative of the Archives of Montreux as well as display of historical postcards.  Students of SHMS will run workshops in the kitchen and restaurants and show presentations of their academic projects.
