“When I left SHMS after graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality, I honestly had many fears and doubts. Starting my profession in logistics and transport management, I wondered how I would achieve success without the proper training in this field. I answered my own questions when I realized that everything I learnt during my time at SHMS could be transferred into my current profession.In my role, I speak with clients from all over the world in four different languages. On a daily basis I use telephone conversation skills, writing skills, critical thinking, risk management and decision making skills, which have all be acquired during my time at SHMS.

SHMS can provide you with the necessary education to be successful in just about any management position and will see you rise to the top of your chosen career ladder.
My advice to students is to remember that passing your exams is just a fraction of your higher education. Learning how to absorb knowledge is the best skill that you can gain.
To sum up, I feel that I have developed personally as well as professionally during my education. Thanks to SHMS, I even have the ability to choose the correct wine and cook a wonderful meal for my wife, whom I met during my time at SHMS!”
